By using CropFinder ("the app", "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About CropFinder

CropFinder is a crop discovery tool that displays agricultural field data on an interactive map. It is intended for informational and educational purposes only.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CropFinder only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Use the app to harass, harm, or surveil any individual or property
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the app in bulk
Use the app in any way that violates applicable local, state, or federal law
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure

3. Agricultural Data Disclaimer

Crop field data displayed in CropFinder is sourced from the USDA Cropland Data Layer (CDL), a publicly available remote-sensing dataset. This data is provided for informational purposes only and may not reflect current, accurate, or ground-verified conditions.

CropFinder makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any crop data displayed. Do not use this app as the sole basis for any agricultural, business, or legal decisions. Always verify conditions directly with landowners, farmers, or other authoritative sources.

4. Accounts

You may use CropFinder without an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

5. Intellectual Property

The CropFinder name, logo, and app design are the property of CropFinder. USDA Cropland Data Layer data is a product of the US Department of Agriculture and is in the public domain. Mapbox map tiles are provided under Mapbox's terms of service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

CropFinder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use the app at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CropFinder and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to reliance on any crop data displayed.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
